Warning for importers of used GM vehicles

Importers of used General Motors vehicles are warned that Holden New Zealand has stopped supplying Statements of Compliance for used imported vehicles.

This affects Entry Certification for all the following makes of vehicles:

  • Holden
  • Chevrolet
  • Cadillac
  • Opel
  • Saturn
  • Pontiac
  • GMC
  • Oldsmobile
  • Isuzu
  • Buick
  • Daewoo
  • Vauxhall

In response to this announcement, the Independent Motor Vehicle Dealers Association (IMVDA) has made other arrangements and can now supply SoCs for used imported North American and European manufactured GM vehicles. Costs will be advised upon application.
